A waiting list will be made from paid registrations after the class is filled. No refunds can be made unless there is a waiting list, or in the event of no waiting list, you find a replacement. While classes are open to non-members, VAQG members receive first preference when registering for a class. Any non-member who has registered for a class that has been filled by members may join the wait list or receive a full refund.

About this event

 

"Seas The Day" and come have fun creating the beautiful Mermaid or Shore Bird blocks.

 

These ‘beachy’ blocks can be made into wonderful wall hangings.   Alternatively, the Mermaid block can be appliquéd onto a larger background for a spectacular pillow. The Shore Birds can be appliquéd onto a background to make a circular towel bin.

Margaret Lo Bianco is a teacher at heart. She ran a Highland Dance school for 33 years. After retiring, she jumped into the quilting arts with both dancing feet!  She learned to sew at a young age and has always loved creating. 

 

She is passionate about quilting and loves to share her love for this art. She enjoys creating whimsical art quilts with added pops of 3-dimensional elements to add interest and fun.
