Blocks in a Bag

 

For this fundraiser, coordinating quilt blocks are created by our quilting Circles or groups of friends, packaged together and offered to the highest bidder.

Quilt Show attendees can look at the blocks in person and place bids over both days via silent auction. Winner does not need to be present at the time when bids are closed.

Whoever wins each set of blocks can assemble them into a quilt, either by using the suggestion included, or by adding more fabric as sashing and borders, and using their own creativity.

Most packaged blocks will include: 
1) the name of the individual or group that made the blocks
2) the number of blocks included
3) the size of the blocks
4) a picture of how the finished quilt will look, or suggested layouts
5) Optional: extra material to be used in the making of the blocks.
